I love camping, hiking, reading (check out my book blog), and spending time with my family. I am married and have two children; my daughter, Brennan, is fourteen and my son, Hillel, is three. Our family has two cuddly kitties, Chester and Mol. We also have two dogs – Bailey, a German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix and Shelby, a German Shepherd/Greyhound mix. Once each year my family (including the dogs) spends a week or two at my husband's family's cabin at Lake of the Woods in Ontario, Canada. The cabin is on an island and has no electricity or running water! While we are there we fish for our food, swim off of the dock, canoe, water ski, read and play games together. That is one of my favorite times of the year.
My other two favorite times of the year are the beginning and the end of the school year. I love the beginning of the school year because I get to know so many new students. It is so much fun for me to see where they are as readers and work to help them showcase their strengths and achieve their goals. I love the end of the school year because I have the opportunity to reflect on the entire learning time I had with my students, to see exactly where they began and celebrate all of their accomplishments.

My name is Brennan. I love to play volleyball, sing, draw, and write stories. I played volleyball for Jefferson High School on the 9th grade A team! I was the setter for my team, although we didn't win any of our games. I also love to go to our Cabin in Canada each summer. It is by far one of my favorite things to do of all time.
I am Mrs. Killorn's daughter, the person who writes this blog! I have one brother, Hillel. My interests are pretty much anything that has to do with volleyball, CSI stuff, and medical stuff. I want to be some sort of doctor when I grow up, so I love to watch the doctor shows, and I also like to watch CSI because it just really interests me. Volleyball is my passion!

Hi, Im Truman and my hobbies are soccer, football, video games, and cooking. In my spare time i either read books, practice my soccer skills, cook food for my sister and brother(if there hungry), or go outside to build a house structure(mini)out of the wood i find in the woods in my backyard. My family is very supporting and are great to hang out with if you have nothing to do. Every year my family and i go to Taylor Falls. Taylor Falls is where we go to bond or just have family fun. And one more thing about me is that i get distracted a lot but i have been improving on getting focused when i need to.
Hey, this is David Killam. Your life seems really exciting. I love to run a lot so this year I was able to go run cross country over at Jefferson and I was so excited because I wasn't the slowest amazingly. I also like to hip hop and brake dance a little with recent song. I really like to listen to music. My favorite genres are hip hop, rap, and RB. I am very new to this school. I am thirteen years old and I am in 8-1 in the A-wing. I was adopted about 12 and three quarters years ago. My first home was in Vietnam and then I was adopted and moved to North Carolina. Then my dad got a job in Minnesota or here and we moved to Bloomington. I have been in three schools. Faith Lutheran, Mount Hope Redemption, and Olson Middle or here. I love Asian and Mexican food a lot and I love orange soda. I have a sister who is a sophomore in Jefferson High School. Then two little brothers.
I love to bike, scooter, and sleep.My hobbies are snowmobiling, four wheel, and play pool. I love to fix electronic stuff or fix bikes. I really think bikes are interesting. I have a cabin in Foxborro,WI by my grandma and grandpas house. We usually go up there for hunting, target shooting with guns, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and just to spend time with family members that live up there. I have one brother named sean, my mom kim, and me Tyler. I have 2 pets. A golden retriever Goldie, and a beshon-shietzoo named Jersey. I use to live in North Carolina but we moved to Bloomington.

Hey my name is Genesis I am in 7#1 and I was born in New York!!! I moved to Minnesota when I was 3 year old and my little sister (Maya)is a year and a half apart. We lived in many house before the ones I live in. My mom had my brother in 2000 and today is his birthday!!! He is 6 today!!!

Seeing how your journey from Montana to Minnesota has changed is amazing. Your commitment to education is evident. There have been times when I've pondered whether I couldpay someone to take my online exam because I'm attempting to balance employment and education. The burden can become too much to bear, not because I don't care. I am even more appreciative of the labor that goes on behind the scenes because of teachers like you.
