I don't necessarily think that it is fair, but I do think that he kind of has no choice. Carlos can't just expect his brother to do everything for himself, so Carlos is kind of the Dad now and he has to make the decisions and be the responsible one now. They can't help that their Dad past away, so they both just have to cope with their loss and take responsibility for their own well-being. It also seems like they have some sort of agreement as to who does what around the house and how things work.
i don't think it is fair for carlos because he is to young to provide for himself and michell but he really dosen't have a choose
I have to say that it kind of isn't fair that Carlos has to sacrafice everything he does for Michael so that he will be happy because Carlos needs to have some food since his dad died. He needs to do something else than worry about Michael and work all the time.
The one time I was disappointed in a decision that was made by my parents was the time my parents told us that they decided to buy a second house up at Duluth because they loved it up there so much. My brothers and sister and I did not like it because we liked to go up there but one of the things we love was going to Barkers Island Inn was a hotel that we loved so much with an indoor pool, restuarant, and game room. We had tv and we loved it so much but we are not going there anymore. We were really disappointed.

I agree with you that Carlos does have a choice, but he is making a good choice to look after his younger brother.

I though that there were closer than that to lie about Carlos job. I think that Carlos should tell his brother because Carlos could go to jail if the polies find out what he was doing because he IS breaking the law and I think he should get a better job than breaking the law.

I dont think it is fair because i think he needs to provide for himself and he has no choice. And he cant just hink that he cant his brother do everything for him like my brother and i. My brother thinks i can do everything for him but i cant in some situations. I have been disapointed in some decisions like when i had to go to my cousins who is very mean and weird, but i really wanted to go to my friends.

no I do not think it is fair for carlos to be disapointed in the situation he has got put into. I just think it is just not fair for everyody to be put in a siuaion like that.

For me... I think that its unfair when I have to baby sit when I have planes that night. But my brother and sister can't be home alone so I don't think it fair and also I don't get paid the money I should do you think its fair to get paid two dollars an hour?

I don't think that it is fair for Carlos to have to take care of his brother because he is only 17yrs old.But it is his responsibility sense there dad pasted on.I don't now a desision that my parent did that I don't know of or agree with.
i agree with ryan cause he rally does not have a choice to choose ause he is to younge and michell should do it for him so he learn from him
To Genesis: Two dollars an hour is a total rip off. You should tell your parents that! haha...I get payed lk 8 bucks an hour when I babysit, but when I babysit my brother I only get payed 5 bucks.
no there has not been any situation that my mom has put me into i am just a perfect child
